Have u read the newspaper or watched the TV? If u do, I'm sure u guys noticed about the campaign called 60 Earth Hour. Well,their main objective is to civilizes people about how to reduce the activities that destroying the earth such as the excessive uses of electricity,open burning.uses of plastic bags and many more.(too much to list down). As u all know excessive use of electricity will cause pollution and rises the earth's temperature while the uses of plastic bags will increase the acidity of the soil and it will decrease the soil erable's level. Meanwhile, open burning will lead to serious air pollution. Generally, everybody knows that we need air in order to stay alive. Just imagine that we're breathing in air pollution environment in a long period, we will surely not able to keep up and died. serious air pollution will causes several diseases such as asthma, bronchitis and pneumonia. This disease can kill us. So, to prevent these from happen we should stand together and participate in whatever campaign that are held. 60 Earth Hour is one of the campaign that u should participate. All u have to is join us at www.ehm.my. Besides that, u can reduce the uses of plastic bags. Instead of asking for plastic bags at the mall, u should use your own bag.Ban open burning and switch of all your lights tonight at 8:30 p.m to 9:30 p.m. It won't cost u anything in fact it will help you to reduce your electric bills. If it wasn't us who is willing to do this, then who else? Earth is where we live so we should appreciate it just like we appreciate our family and friends. I really hope that all the Malaysian are civilized enough to join this campaign. I really hope that all Malaysian will switch off all their lights at home,office or their store. It won't take a long time. Its just for an hour.
Come on, all Malaysians! I know we can do it. Even though Malaysia is only a small country on the earth but it will surely help to save the earth. I, myself will switch off all the lights and other electrical appliance at my house tonight. Together we stand to save the earth! Let the world see that we, as a Malaysians care about the earth.
